So how do we work?

Approval

First you’ll submit your CV, undergraduate transcripts, and a brief survey on career goals to our consulting team. After we review your materials, we may invite you to a 30–minute conversation with your prospective consultant.

In this process, we’ll review whether your profile demonstrates the baseline requirements for entry to preferred LLM or JD programs; but more importantly, we’ll be assessing your critical thinking and leadership skills, and your motivations for pursuing a law degree.

Crimson prides itself on working with inspired, driven individuals from around the world—from social justice advocates to aspiring entertainment lawyers. We don’t just coach you on attaining a law degree: we help you reach the program that will propel your career to the next level, and ultimately set you up to change your world.

Assessing Options

Your first conversations with us after admission to our program will focus on this.

Candidacy–Building & Test Preparation

Through inspirational and practical conversations with your career consultant, you’ll be guided on fleshing out your profile in preparation for admission.

For some of our applicants, this process involves this.

No matter what gaps you’re looking to fill, your Crimson team will ensure you have clear goals and a strategy for accomplishing each as you prepare for a successful application season.

Program Selection

Your application consultant will give you in-depth guidance on researching and selecting the perfect programs for your career goals.

Some of our candidates find their profiles align with this.

Whatever your story and ambitions, your Crimson team will ensure you’re set up with the programs best suited to launch your career’s next stage.

Narrative Development: Essays & Interviews

Your essays and interviews will reflect the heart of your profile, and these will comprise the majority of your work with your dedicated application consultant during application season.

Crimson’s essay–writing process begins with deep discussions and reflective exercises designed to uncover your motivators, inspirations, and any life experiences which may be pertinent to your narrative. You’ll continue with drafting and wrap up with a multi–stage review and refining process. In the meantime, your application consultant will coach you on interview preparation, including question overviews and mocks with real–time feedback.

By the end of our narrative development process, you’ll be feeling confident and focused for each of your interviews, with a story that shines both in person and on paper.

Narrative Development: CV

With your profile development period drawn to a close, your application consultant will conduct a close review of your CV, coaching you on revisions until it aligns with your application narrative and meaningfully showcases your work experience, skills, and educational background.

Forms & Communications

Finally, your application consultant will guide you on completing forms, requesting letters of recommendation, and communicating directly with institutions—whether by reaching out to instructors or responding to admissions committees. Along the way, you’ll have an expert ensuring your interactions with the program are up to standard and support a positive impression of your overall profile.

Faculty Review

No Crimson application is complete without a final faculty review by our most experienced team members. You’ll have the eyes of expert consultants reviewing your completed CV and essays, along with your application consultant’s support in applying any feedback. Our faculty have decades of multinational experience practicing law, navigating business, and consulting would–be legal experts, and you’ll be prepared to join the ranks of dozens of successful Crimson clients upon submitting your application.

Post–Application

Your Crimson team will continue to support as you receive your admissions decisions, providing a career consulting session to help you review options before making a final decision. Should you be considering any waitlist offers, your team will also guide you on writing letters of continued interest and communicating with admissions committees.

The end of your Crimson journey will mark the beginning of your continued academic and professional journey. At Crimson, we believe providing the highest quality support to a select group of individuals with promise has the potential to change the world, and we look forward to considering you for our next cohort.
